For cabin crew, and everyone who plans around them
Your roster. Actually in your calendar.
Paste the text from the crew portal, or upload a screenshot, and CCHQ builds a Work Duties calendar and a Leave & Off calendar automatically. Then it keeps them up to date, all month, on every device.

Sound familiar?
The roster is the job. Retyping it shouldn't be.
Typed in by hand, every month
The roster arrives as a wall of portal text. Getting it into your phone means retyping every sector, report time and rest day. Dozens of entries, one by one.
Cross-midnight maths
Duties that take off on Tuesday and land on Wednesday. Report times in local, arrivals in another timezone. One slip and you've planned your life around the wrong day.
Then it changes
A mid-month amendment lands, and half of what you typed is wrong. So you do it all again. And maybe again.
How it works
From portal to phone in thirty seconds
Paste or snap
Copy your roster text from the crew portal, or snap a screenshot if that's easier. Either works.
CCHQ reads it
Every sector, report time, standby, leave day and rest day is picked up, including the ones that land the day after they take off.
Two calendars appear
Your shifts land in one calendar, your days off in another. One glance and the month's sorted.
Sync once, forget it
Subscribe from iPhone, Google or Outlook with a free account. After that, importing next month's roster updates every device by itself.
What you get
Everything the roster touches, handled
CCHQ is the missing step between the roster you're given and the life you plan around it. Most of it works with no account at all; the rest needs only a free magic-link email.
Two calendars, kept separate
Share just your Work Duties with a rota-watching group chat, or just Leave & Off with family. Nobody has to see more than they need to.
Screenshot in, calendar out
No text to copy? A photo of the roster screen is enough. An AI reader turns the image into your month.
Calendars that stay current
Set it up once and forget it. Each new roster you import pushes straight through to every device that's subscribed.
No company login. Ever.
CCHQ never asks for staff credentials, just the roster text or screenshot that's already on your screen.
Private by default
Use it without an account and your roster stays encrypted on your device. Add an email only if you want syncing, and sign in with a link rather than a password.
Share with home
Send your partner or family a private link. They see your calendar in their browser. No app or account on their side, and nothing from your airline.
Positions at briefing
Your aircraft's working positions, straight off today's roster. Mark who has what, check the demonstration spots and the break groups. Names stay on your phone.
Trips, crew and destinations
A crew list and a destination directory build themselves from the rosters you import. Each place arrives with a photo, the weather and the local currency.
A wall planner to print
Print a clean month calendar for the fridge or the crew room. Choose the months it covers and what lands on it.
Trophies as you fly
Miles, sectors and countries counted up in the background. A quiet record of a career that is otherwise easy to lose track of.
Your month at a glance
Duty days, leave and days off, counted for any month. Tell CCHQ what your contract gives you and it flags a month that falls short.
Works like an app
Install it to your home screen, use it offline down-route, dark mode for the crew bus home, and an app lock for peace of mind.
Nothing to log in to
Built for everyone around the roster
Other tools stop at the crew login screen. CCHQ starts where the roster actually lives: on a screen someone can see.
Crew
Paste the new roster when it drops and it's in your calendar before you're off the crew bus. No more month-start admin evening.
Partners & family
A screenshot is all you need to see which days they're really home, and which nights they're mid-Atlantic.
Anyone handed a roster
Parents planning around trips, friends booking things worth being home for. Nobody needs a crew login to see it.
Why CCHQ exists
It started with one roster.
I kept hearing the same complaint from crew: the roster lands, and getting it off the portal and into a phone calendar means retyping it by hand, every month. A faff, and easy to get wrong.
Being a problem solver, I couldn't just leave it there. I figured I could create something to solve it properly, so nobody has to type a roster out by hand again.
No company logins, and careful with something as personal as where you'll be each night. CCHQ launches with the part that matters most: your roster, turned into calendars that stay in sync. I'll keep enriching those, then add other quality-of-life touches, as we go.

Trust & privacy
Private by design
A roster shows where you'll be sleeping every night this month. CCHQ treats it that seriously.
Never asks for a staff login
CCHQ works from what you can already see: pasted text or a screenshot. It never asks for, stores, or touches a staff login.
Pasted text stays on your device
Roster text is read and stored right on your phone, encrypted with AES-GCM. No server sees it unless you add sync.
Screenshots use an AI reader
Reading an image takes an AI service, so screenshot imports are sent over the internet for processing. If you'd rather keep everything on your device, paste the text instead.
Accounts are optional, and sign-in is a link
Cross-device sync needs nothing but an email address. You sign in with a link we send you, so there is no password to invent. You can add one later if you want to, which helps in the home-screen app on iPhone.
FAQ
Fair questions
Do I need my company login?
No, and CCHQ will never ask for it. It only needs the roster text or screenshot you're able to view yourself. No staff credentials, no access to company systems.
Is this an official British Airways app?
No. CCHQ is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to British Airways in any way.
Which crew can use it?
All cabin crew ranks and fleets. CCHQ was built from BA rosters, so those read best, but rosters look similar across the industry and it should cope with others too. If yours doesn't read cleanly, send over an anonymised copyand we'll be happy to broaden the coverage.
I can only get a screenshot. Is that enough?
Yes. Upload the screenshot and an AI reader lifts the roster from the image. Because that uses an online service, screenshot imports need an internet connection. It's also how partners and family use CCHQ, since they never see the portal at all.
Copying from Crewlink or CMG, does it matter which?
It can. Crewlink gives the fullest copy: crew names, destinations, the lot. If you're using CMG's day view, expand every entry and select all before copying; otherwise you'll only grab what's shown collapsed, and the import will be missing detail.
Where does my roster data go?
Pasted rosters are read on your device and stored there, encrypted with AES-GCM. Screenshots are the exception: the image is sent to an AI service to be read (and if a pasted roster can't be read locally, CCHQ offers the same AI reader as a fallback). If you add a sync account, your calendar syncs so your other devices can see it, and you can delete it whenever you like.
What needs an account, and what doesn't?
Almost everything works with no account: importing rosters, both calendars, downloading .ics files, the crew and destination directories, the positions board, the printable wall planner and your trophies. A free account adds three things on top: the live subscription link, family sharing, and sync across your devices.
What is the crew positions board?
It opens on today's aircraft, straight from your roster, and shows the working positions on a plan of the cabin. Tap a position to mark it taken, or allocate it to someone on your roster by name. It also shows the demonstration spots and which break group each position is in. The layouts were drafted from fleet sheets and are not yet crew-checked, so always check the board against the aircraft, and tell us what's wrong. Who worked which position stays on your phone and clears itself after about two days.
My roster changed mid-month. Now what?
Paste (or snap) the amended roster and import it again. Your calendars update, and any device subscribed to your live link picks up the change automatically.
How do I get it into my iPhone, Google or Outlook calendar?
After importing you can download a standard .ics file with no account at all. Better still, create a free account and subscribe to your live calendar link. That's a one-time, one-minute step per device, and CCHQ walks you through it for each platform.
How quickly do subscribed calendars update?
Your calendar link updates the moment you import a roster. How soon your calendar app checks it varies by platform: iPhones refresh frequently, while Google refreshes subscribed calendars roughly once a day, so changes are not instant there.
Can my partner see my roster without a company login?
Yes. Share your live calendar link, or send them a private CCHQ share link so they can view your calendar in their browser. Nothing to install, no account on their side, and nothing from your airline. You'll need a free account to create the links.
Is it free?
Yes. CCHQ is free to use today: no card details, no subscription. One honest note for the future: things like the AI screenshot reader cost real money to run, so some advanced features may become paid extras at some point.
Does it work for my airline?
Give it a try. CCHQ was built around BA's roster format, but the screenshot reader in particular is flexible about layout, so other airlines often work. If your roster doesn't import cleanly, send an anonymised copy our way (or email rosters@cchq.uk with a screenshot) and we'll gladly teach CCHQ your airline's format.
Something's broken, or I'm stuck. How do I get help?
Use the feedback & support form in the app, or email support@cchq.uk. It's a one-person operation, so replies are human and usually quick.
Do I have to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser. If you want it to feel like an app, add it to your home screen: it installs as one, works offline, and supports dark mode and an app lock.
Your next roster takes thirty seconds.
Paste it, check it, sync it. Then stop thinking about it.
